New Smyrna Beach, FL

At Joy By The Sea in New Smyrna Beach | Fri, Oct 25 - Mon, Oct 28, 2024

Nestle into the cozy, coastal villas at Joy by the Sea, perfectly perched alongside the inviting 17 mile stretch of white-sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.

Stephen Fries and Christopher Bartlett, food and culinary
travel columnists and board members of the International
Association of Culinary Professionals, will host this engaging and exciting three-day getaway October 25 to October 28, 2024 that is absolutely “Worth Tasting.”

This all-inclusive culinary adventure will fully immerse guests in all things “New Smyrna Beach and Joy By The Sea.” From dinner in a “treehouse” restaurant to an exclusive “cookbook luncheon” with MacKenzie Smith, author of Grilled Cheese Social, at the iconic, luxurious, beachside-mansion, The Queen’s Gambit.

Spending time in New Smyrna Beach will include culinary
walking tours of both the Canal Street and Flagler Avenue
districts with bites and sips, plus time for shopping along the way. We’ll explore the local, weekly farmer’s market, where we’ll buy produce and other locally grown and sourced foods to take back to “our” oceanside beach house, where we’ll prepare “the perfect” salad food boards for lunch beside the crystalline waters of the Atlantic.

Worth Tasting: New Smyrna Beach will include a delectable breakfast each morning both “in-house” and one at a nearby, super-innovative and fun cafe. Together, we’ll celebrate “social hour” all three days from a rooftop terrace to a distillery to “our beach house,” plus unforgettable dinners on nights one and three. The evening of day two will offer guests time to find that perfect spot to enjoy dinner on their own. The culinary delights highlighted here are included with this “Worth Tasting” delicious getaway. This package should be booked along with your room reservation.
